Got 2 pair of 8 led's to install, yet.

Cool...did you make those or buy them complete? any info where you got supplies is also appreciated.

Looks good!! Invest in a dremel tool. They come in very handy it would have saved you time and a very clean cut.

They've been hand-filed to a friction-fit. Files are flat. I don't like doing really small work with a high-speed/abrasive tool. I gave my Dremel to my nephew a couple years ago.

hmmmm, gives me ideas for my Gen1 busa. ~mm always makin LED boards for tail or turns.....I should get my spare hotbodies tail painted up this year & go crazy with with it.

Problem I see with those LED's is, they are very directional, most of the light will be at the very end of the bulb. How do they look from a car drivers point of view?

depends actually on the LEDs he used. LEDs are available with a very wide rage of output angle. So, sideview may not be as much an issue as you think.

I'm fabbing up my own as well, do you recall what the factory wiring colors were so I can splice in my new taillight without trial and error.
