I posted a few rants before about this bike..it looks killer
like a naked version of the new CBR1000 and my gripe was
that you had to live in the u.k. to get one...

Now I read a u.k. magazine they tested it agains the cbr1000
Now I understand they detune naked versions (which I think is stew-pud as shiite but...) they detuned it to the
tune of -54hp...
The straight up CBR dyno'd at 166 hp...
the CB1000r dyno'd at .....112 hp (that's pretty crappie for 1000cc anything)
That's a heck of a lot of detuning going on...thats almost a third
I just don't get it....
Why don't they just leave the std motor alone (except for minor low end torque adjustments)
and put it in the naked bike?
