Hello people...... When I bought my bike the horn was removed. I bought a used horn and plugged it in with no luck. I am getting power to one side of the plug for the horn but none on the other, even with the button pressed. Everything else works so I have ruled out a fuse.....could it be the switch or something else? I ran power to the horn and it does work.

Probably a bad or dirty switch or a broken wire to the switch. Take the switch housing apart and take a look.

I will look at the switch tonight.....ill clean everything as well......I hate electrical

I with ya. I hate electrical shizz. I agree with the swith housing idea.

The previous owner probably used the horn switch to shift or maybe spray

Get some electrical contact cleaner from a local parts store. Break down the switch housing and clean everything out. Put it back together and it will probably work. I cannot remember for sure, but is one wire grounded to the frame, or does it go back to the switch with the supplied power wire? If it is simply grounded, remove that connection and clean it as well.

Ok, I got it......It was the switch, The switch was pushed back in the housing not making good contact with the pin. A HUGE thank you to GIXERHP he has been awesome with helping on more than one thing....

Oh and just FYI that switch is a PITA if you have big fingers and dont really know how it all goes back together....
