Horn Issue

Maybe you guys could help me out. It sounds like something in the horn circuitry has a short or there's something wrong with th pressure sensor at the switch.

I bought the Busa about 2 months ago. I'd been getting a barely audible, random chirp occasionally going down the road almost since the start, which I didn't realize was coming from me until about a month ago. But anyway, here about a week ago it went from a chirp to a full blown horn blast. I started her up to get warmed up before a ride. The chirping started again, but a little louder this time. Then a couple of seconds later and nonstop HOOOONK. I quickly turned it off, but not before it scared the living crap out of a couple of kids in the yard next to mine and they ran in the house. I messed with the switch a few times, turning it on and off to no avail.

I figured the pressure switch might just be sticking a little or something. So today I took out the two screws underneath the plastic housing and shot a little wd/40 into it. Didn't help. So I opened the fuse box, but didn't see one specifically for the horn so I could at least take it somewhere to have it looked at. I took out the one for "Signals", and wallah, no horn. But apparently it's also the fuse for the entire dash. I put the fuse back in just to see what would happen, turned the key on... and no honk. I was pleasantly surprised.

I fired her up to take it for a test run. I didn't hear a thing the entire time it was warming up, but the chirping started again almost as soon as I got going down the road. I was a little under half a tank, so I figured I'd run to the gas station and back just to see how things went. Nothing more than the chirping until I got about half way back... then it started again. I shut it off immediately and turned into a parking lot. I called a friend to bring me my tools so I could take that fuse out again and get it home at least. But she didn't want to drive my big truck so I decided to just brave it out and go through town looking like a maniac. But right before I pulled out of the lot, I hit a couple small potholes and it went down to a chirp then stopped all together again, thankfully. Didn't do it again the rest of the time.

Anyway, all that to say I think it sound like a shorting wire somewhere. It seems like sudden jarring movements of the bike alter something to make the chirping/hanking start and stop. What do you guys think? Where should I start looking? Any of you heard of this before? I've searched and searched on Google and other places, and haven't found any other case of this.

Edit: Also, I guess I should mention that the guy I bought it from has nitrous put on it. When you flip a switch near the seat, the horn then becomes your shot button. Maybe something to do with that wiring? I'm not familiar with what was added/modified or what not when it was installed.

Thanks.
