Last night I re-watched Friday the 13th.

I still dig it. The corny lines, cheesey charachters, limited special effects, the token nekkid scenes

I may have to get me Halloween next.

A friend of the House Mouse set me up with all EIGHT of the Friday the 13th series. how cool is that.

I may have seen them all,but I still dig 'em.

RSD.

My favs are:
Hellraiser
Ringu (actually the whole Japanese series)
Ring

i like the costuming there is an older movie called nightbreed that i would love to find for my collection.

Nightbreed. I think I have seen that. Its by one of the masters...Clive Barker. He's done a ton of stuff.

Final Destination - more of a mind game than scary.
Saw 1 and 2 were really good, Saw2 being better than the first.. IMO.

Here you go.

Ring around the Rosie (Saw this for the first time last night)
The Grudge (Great scare factor)
Ju-On (The original Japanese version of "The Grudge" and twice as scary! Get it!)
Alien (Only the first one)
Darkness (Cool flick)
The Exorcist I and III and Exorcist:Beginning (STILL can scare the hell out of anyone)
Gothika (Not bad. Not great. I like the idea better than the movie.)
The Hitcher (One of my all-time favorite movies)
The Shining (Also right up at the top of the list)
Soul Survivors (Ranks in there with "Gothika.")
The Lost Boys (One of my favorites)
Tremors (A little slapstick but a great movie. Along the lines of "The Lost Boys.")
Wrong Turn (Greatest sleeper movie I've seen in years!)

Cheers!

Oh, yeah! Saw I and II. GREAT mind game movies.

Should have included all three "Silence of the Lambs" movies, too.

My favs are:
Hellraiser
Ringu (actually the whole Japanese series)
Ring
Hellraiser...seen it,very cool. based my avatar on that for years.

Ring,have both those.

Ringu.... I must research this.
Yup - I remember the old RSD Pinhead...
Ringu is the Japanese trilogy that the ring is loosely based on,
The movies are Ringu, Rasen and Ring 0 (Birthday) - I have them....
The ring is like a readers digest version of them all.

The Mangler (with Robert Englund).

Very stupid movie but the gore level is great. The industrial accident scene and aftermath is worth the price of admission!

Bambi. I still have nightmares... and get chills just typing the name

Underworld Evolution, because Kate Beckinsale looks SOOO good in black painted on pants, all 3 Blade movies. Van Helsing is another one, mostly because of Kate, but not really a horror film compared to SAW, Silence of the lambs, etc.

A fairly recent one.... "Hostel".... will leave you with a bad feeling about travelling abroad....

Dracula... Not really scarey but liked the redo
Sixth sense...
Halloween
Interview with a vampire
Salems Lot
