HOT weather jacket

As I am sure some of you can sympathize it gets hotter then Hades here in Vegas. Last year I think it hit about 126 on a few days.

I currently have a ICON TiMax II mesh. This jacket is great for winter or cooler days, but I need something that is somewhat safe and really cool for the scorchers.

Does anyone make a good, cool jacket that will still provide protection in case you go down?

I cannot imagine a 126 day in Virginia, but my alter ego works great when you pull the liners out and open up the vents.

I'll send it to you if you want to try it out.

Sorry to tell you man but they are all hot in my opinion . I suggest riding at night. The only other thing I have found is white mesh jackets with a sleevless tea shirt underneath aint all that bad.

I have a FirstGear Mesh and it was 88* last week and the jacket was hot. While a t Cycle Gear I spotted a mesh jacket that has larger weaving than the FG. Might be worth a look.

(ToyKraz @ Mar. 22 2007,15:10) Any any of the leather jackets any cooler than the mesh?
I have an Alpinestars Air Flo mesh, and a perforated, vented Alpinestars Spinner leather, and I find that the leather is more comfortable to wear in the heat. When you stop with the mesh, that unnatural plastic seems like it wants to melt to your skin. The leather seems to breathe. Just my $.02.

For what its worth, I live on the Gulf Coast and it gets Africa humid and hot here - lived in Vegas for a while too.

I have leather, perforated leather, the whole friggin selection of whats out there but my JR Reactor (mesh / leather with CE) is by far the coolest to wear in hot hot weather. Still sweat but without a doubt, its cooler than any of the leather or textile stuff.

He**, just keep moving and drink plenty of fluids
