Hey .ORGers, I am in the Houston area and need a back tire. Anyone know of a shop that is open on Mondays that does bike tires? Thanks in advance.

What side/part/area of Houston are you on? My dad has a couple of bikes, and hubby has bought tires or taken the bike for service when we were "back home" visiting or he was on leave. I remember a couple of names off the top of my head, but I know my dad frequents Angleton and hubby had driven somewhere off I-10.

Post up if you get a chance, and I can leave names depending on the area you are looking at.

looks like most I find online are closed on Monday.

How bad is the tire?

Not too bad.. Just stripped down the middle wearing as it did last trip! I'm so sick of this! staying in humble tx tonight. Gonna do space center tomorrow I guess. Had planned to be in galveston by now but tire has me worried. Don't wanna get stuck with metal showing and unable to ride.

No problem. I get most of my tires there. They are normally cheaper than everyone else on most popular tires.

Until the cords are showing....you're GOOD! You must not have seen the Killboy pic posted last month?
