Is it just me or is this year's playoffs way more exciting. All of the semi-finals are 2-2 for the beginning of game five.

How 'bout dem Lakers whippin' San Antonio's a$$ last night to win the best-of-seven series. I'm guessin' that they will meet up with Minnesota in the conference finals. Gonna be a good series, but I think the Lakers will come out on top since neither Sacremento nor Minnesota has a center. There will be a lot of "Hack-a-Shaqin'" goin' on

Best East team in my opinion is Miami, and they won't win. The LAKERS will win it all with Kobe Bryant being the MVP. Mark my words.

But I think the best East team is Indiana, just cause their schedule is easy don't think that they aren't any good!

Man the Sacramento Queens haven't got anything for the Lakers. They need to get past the T-wolves first. I'm pulling for the Lakers because I know they will be dismantled after this year. I'd also like to see Garnett get a ring. He's young though and has plenty of years to get a championship.

I'm a die-hard Laker fan and will root for them even during hard times. I've done it with my San Francisco 49ers as well. I'm not one to jump ship when things get a little slow.

I doubt Kobe will get locked up. Its not like she is a good girl(does anyone REALLY think he raped her???) and Kobe has plenty of money to throw into court.
And the word around here is Kobe just wanted to see his options, he'll be a Laker next year. Just playing the game.

I can honestly say that I have been a Laker fan for a good number of year. Probably dating back into the mid to late 70s, but I don't want to see them win. I don't think its how they play, the players or the coach I'm just not excited about seeing them win! Honestly, basketball in general has kind of disappointed the last few years. Guess I just miss the old school ways of playing the game! Nobody plays defense anymore. Certain players are allowed to do whatever they want to do. Traveling is a thing of the past and don't talk to me about carrying the ball!

Anyway, I'll step off the soapbox now!

I like the game better post Jordan versus pre Jordan. Just a lot more excitement these days.

P.S. There's a lot of defense these days, 31 pts. in the first half of a playoff game, that's a lot of defense.
