how do i go about getting a hump?

hey my local dealership took good care of me when i bought my new bike, and they all seem to be great people......the only complaint i have with them is that they gave me no hump, i remembered about it right as i was leaving and the salesman said he was always under the impression that it was an added item, to be ordered for an extra cost...........now he said he would check with the manager, look into it, and let me know ASAP.......

now you and i both know that these bikes are supposed to come with the rear cowl piece, so how the hell would i go about getting mine? i want it badly and am about ready to call suzuki, but i really dont want to make the dealership look shitty.......

also, if suzuki sends the humps with every bike, at no extra cost, why the hell would a dealership (ive heard of em doing it before) try to cheapskate someone out of it, what good does an extra hump do a dealership?

i want my hump, give me some advice.......late........

go back and very kindly tell your dealer that he full of poo. The Hayabusa is SUPPOSED to come with a rear cowl...

At NO extra cost.

and if they all say "sorry, we havent let any busas go the last 6 years with a hump for free" do i:

1. just pay the money and order one
2. tell em to fucc off, i want it now, or im raising hell
3. call suzuki and tell em about this bullshyt

also, if suzuki sends the humps with every bike, at no extra cost, why the hell would a dealership (ive heard of em doing it before) try to cheapskate someone out of it, what good does an extra hump do a dealership?

thanks guys..........

I'd do the following:

2. tell em to fucc off, i want it now, or im raising hell
3. call suzuki and tell em about this bullshyt

Simple answer...

Busa parts cost premium dollar....most especially at the dealer. Think of all the extra money they'd be pocketing.

I would call suzuki and inform them that your dealer is stealing from them and making profit off of it.

Actually, ask them to put it in writing first. Ask them for some sort of written policy that instructs them to sell the solo cowl as a seperate piece.

If you get that from them, hang on to it and fax a copy to Suzuki USA. Then shid's really gonna hit the fan.

The hump comes at no extra cost and is delivered in a sealed taped up cardboard box! Accept nothing less!

Actually I think we're all looking for a hump!

Just kidding - comes with bike. More than likely your stealership took yours to replace a defective one for some other complaining customer. Now it's your time to complain!

I got my bike in 01 without the hump, I call the dealership anonimously and send an email to suzuki customer service and both confirmed that it comes with the bike.
Now I wonder if they will give it to me after all that time.

Yeah what pacificbusa said, if you go to your dealership and ask that they supply you with written documentation of what they have said, its going to get them thinking. They will wonder why you need documentation and I bet they'll come off that hump.

Which dealership did you buy it from man? I usually work with both Tim O'Neill and PSP frequently. They both are telling me that you get the hump.

Most def, go get your hump Bro. It's supposed to come standard with the Busa.
