i know iknow your all fed up of same question just one little query please how can i tell if my home made tre is working??

thanx for that the reason i asked on the gsxr600 whentre was fitted at 2000rpm pull in the clutch and the revs wopuld either go up or down by 1000rpm cant remember but the busa dont change

It changes on mine if you pull the clutch in. I have a 99 with Ivan's TRE. Sounds like you have something missing.

it will change on a Busa up or down in Rpms but the up or down depends on it you are rich or lean.
and on a 600-750-1000 the bike will never hit 186 so no one would need one on those

sounds like i have the wrong resistor then its a 6.8k but they said at maplins it might be the wrong one all i can tell you is its 6.8 blue with 5 lines

Assuming you're doing this on the cheap and have no measuring devices, here's what I recommend. But, first I would say that I could tell in about 15 seconds on my bike. Rig the wiring so that the resistor is hanging out the side. This will make comparison changes easier. Then, start it up and ride relatively slow. Coast so the load is relieved from the engine, and then slowly roll on the throttle. With the tre, you should feel a split second gradual roll-on that leads into the main power kick-in. Without the tre, the power kick in should be noticably sharper without the little ease-in roll-on.

Once the main power has kicked in, the primary effect of the tre is over. Low rpm sputtering from there on will need to be resolved with a Power Commander.

Next way is to get one of those gear indicators. But, for that, you could just get a real tre from ivan's and be done with it.

i can read and if this sitewas run as easy as mine i would have found it but like someone said in a earlier message some people on here just want take the p**s and not help they thing there god i only wanted help
