How I like it thus far

Had my 02 about 2 mos now. Wish I had thouroughly explored this site before buying the 02. Found out about starter issues from this site. Probably wouldn't have bought the 02 had I known all about that before hand. Anyway since then I have upgraded the starter system to the 03 system, installed steel case protector, upgraded cables, and put in heavyduty battery. Old starter and gears were fine, however. So thanks to everyone for the good info.
I love this bike even more than I thought I might. Kind of reminds me of driving a big block Chevy Camaro. Every time I get it out it is like an exciting adventure. My other rides have been kind of ho hum in camparison. Any way you all know what I mean. HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

What did the starter sound like before you replaced it or did it not do anything? Because sometimes I can hear a barely audible high pitched noise after that 3 second warm up the bike does when your about ready to start it.

There were no unusual sounds or anything going on. The starter limiter gear on the 02 and earlier Busa is smaller and the starter has less tooth contact with it. Some have experienced problems due to this so I upgraded to 03 system just for insurance.
