I only have about 7,800 miles on my 2003 Busa and it's less than a year old. The chain is just about out of adjustment and I don't wheelie or do burn outs. What gives? Is it acceptable wear for a Hayabusa?
I just swapped my chain & sprockets at 18,800 miles on it and they were still it fair condition. I wheelie a little and a few burn outs ... adjustment was close to the end for most of those 18K miles. Just make sure spocket teeth are in good shape
Depends on how your ride and how well you take care of the chain. I have gotten over 20k on a chain with the occasional weekend race and a couple of stunts and have had other chains that I didn't take care of get less that 9k.
I got 20,000 out of mine and I wheelie a little , some small burnouts . If you keep your chain to tight it will wear faster , lube it alot and give it the 1" of play when you adjust it at least .
depends on where you live and how you maintain chain, got
18k out of first chain, put new chain on and went on vacation in florida, sand and salt killed chain in 2weeks and 3k,third chain still going at 35k good condition.third chain premium quality.
