i just put a big motor on my 02 busa 1430, bob head, cams. i measured my bike from axle to axle,i have 71" inches.an i keep getting told its too long, can someone tell me how long should it be to hook on the track but not wheelie too bad
Well from my experience my ZX 14 was at 62 inches with an ultra soft shinko and I would be down to 8 psi some nights if the track went away and still have trouble spinning. My best 60 ft at 62 inches was 1.445. I would say go no more then 64 to 66 inches. and you should see good 60fts
I'm four inches over and I fight wheelies all the time at the track. I would also add that I need a better shock and spring. I think if my suspension was right, the wheelies wouldn't be so bad. I'm watching the Professor pretty close to see how things work out for him.
I think 66" to 72" is good,I'm closer to 72" myself!!! ((Had the same problem myself))I think if you have not already...get someone to take a look at your suspension.Once I got the suspension dailed in the problem pretty much when away.Every now & then I'll get a little spin BUT FOR THE MOST PART.............MY BIKE WILL SH*T AND GET!!!!!!!
Its really all in what YOU like.I agree with FAST08 I think 64"-68" is perfect, but that may not work for everybody.
Im at 72 inches with mickey thompson drag tire. We are running a racetech rear shock setup and its HOOKS. if i your bike spins call mickey thompson traction is their job
my n/a bike i just measured is 69inches. thats full fairings with just 3" of ground clearance. I plan on ???? to this one but i would like to shave an inch and start going for some prostreet class. I have a 1507 kit with a stock rear tire. its a carnival ride but once i put a mickey thompson on there im sure it will be perfect.
