how many bikes do 2 people need?

was taking some pics of my daughter at my parents place this weekend. I normally keep the 'busa/ducati there unless i'm planning on riding alot that week. I only live about 1/2 mi. from where I work so there isn't much point in it. My dad sometimes steals the Monster,,, and every once in a blue moon he will sneak the 'busa out.. haha sometimes he denies it.. but I normally know my mileage for whatever reason.

Anyway.. took some photos inside the garage... we are gonna hafta expand.. or i'm gonna hafta build a building soon if we dont' start liquidating some of these things... basically with the exception of 3 dirt bikes, and 1 street bike these are all the bikes I rode growing up... dad always hated to sell bikes... It never bothered me much cause I was always selling one to buy another... sorta wish I'da kept a few of them now-a-days.. maybe thats why he hasn't sold any in so long.

the old dog, and the thumper... learned to wheelie on that DR350.. don't tell the old man though.. haha he babies it.

the DR is a 94, and Kawi is a 83 or some such old age.

first, and second road bikes.. hhaha.. the NX125 first... Old man rode the dual sport DR, and I wailed away hopelessly on the NX125.. stupid bike.. waste of aluminum mostly.. not enough power for the road,, and too heavy for the trail.

the EX250... man I thought I was flyin' first bike I ever had that would do 100 (indicated anyway).. back in my squid days fo shooo!

the Vstrom the old man is riding now.. i'm sure it won't be long before it's saddle-bagged out and a bigger windshield (groan)

small fortune tied up in tag renewel fee's ever year for basically no reason.

Seeing that KZ550 brought back a flood of teenage memories. My riding buddy had one and whenever I wanted a change of pace I'd swap him my 920 Virago. Fun bike.

I wish I still had my Cruiser. I got rid of it when I bought the Busa. I will buy another one in about 5 years, its a nice change of pace when the speed demons are not biting.

Why....

too greedy to sell mostly.. hahah get aggravated everytime we look at the resell value and mutter something like..

"Eff that.. i'll let it rot in the garage before I take that for it!"

thats the case with about half of them.. the others have their places in the grand scheme of things.
