There is a groove correct only on one side I believe this is where you are at.
What spacer?

O-rings are designed to work alone, never grouped together. The shop that put the pipe on your bike has a stupid novice mechanic or absent-minded tool spinner. Who knows, maybe they install customers oil filters with an extra O-ring, anybody who has a trace of mechanical skill would know better.

I did not need the spacer for the Micron full system after they sent me the correctly bent head pipes.
The spacer is bullSH#$. I have about 1/4" clearance between the cooler and the pipes now.
There may be two o-rings, I will have to look into the old instructions from last year on the Micron and post back.

JC--The spacer is to help with clearance if the head pipes come too close to the cooler and touch. They space out the cooler and then supply you with a spacer that goes between the oil line connection. I think one o-ring for each side of the spacer. They give you longer bolts also.

I DO NOT LIKE IT, because it places A LOT OF TENSION ON YOUR OIL LINE, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A LEAK! THAT WOULD BE A NICE THING TO HAPPEN IN A NICE SWEEPER.

Maniac Marshall,
I've got the same problem with the leak. Noticed a couple of drops on the garage floor last week. Got really uptight when the oil had blown a little underneath the fairing, and all the road grime had stuck to it; looked like I had a big problem brewing. I cleaned the underside with Honda Pro-Clean stuff, drove around awhile, and looked back under there, and could see it getting a tad wet around where the line goes into the cooler.
My dealer has to order the O-rings, and I was going to wait and see what all was going on before I posted here about it, but you beat me to it. I'll let you know what I find. Dealer's going to do it under warranty, of course.
