---I am wondering though if maybe someones wife/Girlfriend demanded they sell their busa...  So to get her off his back they listed it for a it's "Sentimental value"...  Sorta like the squids who through a bunch of after market sh!t on a Busa with a custom paint job and then try to sell it for it's "Value" PLUS the cost of all the mods...  Silly fugging folks out there....


One interesting Tid-bit.... Hayabusa's despit the recalls early on, and regardless of Honda's "Legendary Build Quality" are demanding higher prices in the resale market and have higher resale values than the CBR 1100XX Super Blackbird... Interesting...

Kinda looks like the bidders smelled a scam and simply blasted the bidding price to an unbelieveable amount to kill the auction. Seen it happen before. Folks set up fake ebay accounts just to make rediculous bids on scams. View attachment 477135

Fat fingered is an underestimate! I agree about the higher resale prices. I have seen in many markets that folks are willing to pay a premium for the 'Busa!

I posted this to another thread, but I can't recall if it was on this site or not. Anyway, there was an article in a recent motorcycle magazine about resale value and the Hayabusa is supposed to hold its value better than any other Suzuki and is above average for bikes in general.

As the owner of an orange '03 LE, I have to say that the black LE is one of the best looking bikes out there. But at least the guy could have cleaned the wheels for those photos - they really look bad in the first one. I mean, for 177 large, I sure would!
