How Much oil?

Did a quick search, and don't have my book's close by.. How much url do these things take?

Look on the left side of the engine case and it will tell you 3100mm

I thought it was 3.5, but like stated use the sight glass. Gonna love my stands for changing oil

Per the manual the engine will hold 3.3 L, 3.5 US / 2.9 Imp qts.

I'd go closer to 4.0 qts. Run the bike for a short while after changing the oil and filter, shut off the engine, then look at the sight glass and you'll see what I mean.

Gallon jug of Amsoil full synth and when I change it at 5,000 miles, its down about a half cup, maybe.

the 2 times I have changed my oil I buy a gallon and fill it up.

I have yet to make the switch to Syn...still on Suzuki oil.

Didn't read far enough down. 3.7 will put you at the top full line on sight glass. I've been using 3.5 and hitting mid glass
