Its not hard i bought the manual an if you plan on keeping the bike be good to have one

It's only a few small screws holding the magneto to the cover
it is easy just watch the fingers when putting it back on.
The wire isjust connector to unplug outside the cover.

And as always, put it back together the way it came apart. Make notes if necessary. That magnet will pinch fingers. Keep them clear.

how do i get to the front of the stator? i could only see the back. the cover is still on with the stator on it

Not sure I am following you properly ??? You have a new stator cover remove the old stator cover, take whats mounted on the old cover and put on new cover exactly as it is in the original cover.

there should be 3 bolts which is # 7 on diagram 2 small bolts #4 on diagram holding it to the cover I think.. run the wire the same as the original cover take pics of the original for reference if needed.

If item number #2 is still attached to the cover when you remove it you have a very serious problem which goes beyond switching covers:laugh:

Should be pretty easy to figure out. Read up, take your time. I did mine without a manual years ago. If i can do it...

Look at the inside of your new stator cover, Look where the bolts screw into it, Now pull off the old stator cover and you should be able to to see where the the stator unbolts from the stock one by looking where it bolts to the new one, Remove the bolts from the stator and the one holding the wires inplace and place it into the new cover the same way.

Very Very important, Im hoping you have paid attention when they guys say be carefull putting it back on, WHEN YOU GO TO PLACE THE COVER BACK ON THE MAGNET IS GOING TO TRY AND PULL IT OUT OF YOUR HANDS, ( IT IS VERY STRONG ) BE PREPARED, HOLD IT TIGHTLY.

One other thing, Put the bike on a rear stand if possible, you dont want to do this on a kickstand, you will loose alot more oil if you do.

That part about the the magnets and putting the cover back on is NO KIDDING. Don't get your hands anywhere near the lip of that cover, it will cut right thru your hand and take half of it off when it "snaps' back on - you will not be able to hold it.

I have the manual if you need it upload to .pdf for the GENII

Thanksa guys. I figured it out. some how the stator was not bloted on . i only realised it when i got fed up and decide to crack the front of it with the hammer and when i hit it...it poppe right out lol

AAAhhh!!! now I see.

We warned you to watch your finger because the magnet has alot of pulling power and will rip the stator cover right out of your hands when re-installing that same power kinda keeps it clinging there even after the bolts are off to take it off:laugh:
