hey guys im changin plugs tomorrow. is it a daunting task removing the airbox or is it a peice of cake. Can someone please give instructions on how to remove airbox to get to my plugs, or are there any intructions on the forum here i searched but nohthing. anything i should watch out for? thanks a million

It's pretty easy, I don't know where the instructions are, but you need to get under the tank, surprise, surprise... Loosen the two clamp screws that hold the airbox to the throttle bodies. Unhook the vacuum tubes, I think there should be just two (and one on the bottom after you get it pulled). Unplug the sensor (left side, green thing on the box).

Then walk it off, it may take a little effort if you have not had it off before, the rubber likes to stick a little. Then move it out of the way.

To change the plugs, just blow the area clean if possible, don't want trash to get down into the cylinder when you remove the plug (wire to stack).

Then unplug and remove the coil stack and replace the plug and replace coil stack and plug it back in. Move to the next and repeat.

Just check the plug gap before installing.

When you go to reinstall install the air box, you might want to moisten up the rubber that goes around the throttle body throat, helps slip it back on. Don't forget to connect the vacuum hose on the bottom that connects to the flapper. Walk the box back on, observe underneath to make sure the box is sitting properly and tighen the clamps up. Connect the sensor wire, and other vacuum hoses, put the tank back down, put the seat back on and go have a beer (or five).

That's it in a nutshell...

I didn't even notice that you had the other thread as well...
