Hi to all,in their website they did not state the durability. Please share with me is stock plates better than the above? If so in what aspects?Anyone uses them before?

Thanks in advance

most guys run with the OE clutch pack. I've always been satisfied with them. I never ran hyperplates so I can't really comment on them.

No way hyperplates are awsome. I know the owner of the company and he run a performance shop in South Elgin, Illinois called Fornarelli Racing. I have put these plates in all my bikes but i use stock friction plates. I was told those are the best to use and last the longest. My turbo bike put down 412rwhp and my n/a bike is over 200 and i have had not a single problem. You will feel a differance in how fast it revs up. Alot of pro riders use them. Every bike i have has those in them even if it is for street or track they work great either way. I even have a set on order for my r1 as well. But for 150.00 its deffinatley worth that for the hayabusa. Awsome Awsome product.

after i posted that i realized that it was coming from a guy who has quite a few mods lol. (non oem-of course). let me re phrase myself if i may, some oem parts should stay where they are because they are alot better, some can be swapped for an upgraded after-market part.

If a clutch pack is working correctly, why would the bike rev any differently from one brand to another.. zero slip is zero slip.. just a question of how much heat and abuse any one clutch pack can take over another.. I do know that the vast majority of the Turbo bikes at our track run stock clutches (usually a full season out of a pack) without any problems.. biggest problem expressed by any is just the heat build up on back to back runs..

Thanks for sharing guys.I have decided to stay with the stock.Anyone who knows whether the Gen 2 busa stock clutch plates and fibers can be used on Gen 1 busas?

Ok thanks,no modification needed? The fibers of the gen 2 is wider than the stock gen 1s.Thus the durabiltity will be longer:thumbsup:

There is nearly a pound less of weight being turned in the motor thus making it more efficient and alum disapates heat alot easier and they have a special coating and i have never had to replace them yet. Run them with stock fibers.
