I will be there, but I don't know if I will have my bike back together. Depends on when the chain gets here and if I can get it to the dealer to have it installed. The stupid tool to rivet it is going to take a week to get here......???
cuz with my wrenching skills and tool selection i have a greater chance of dying if i do the work. What do yo mean easy links?you dont get the easy links?? why wait for a dealer? why let them TOUCH your bike??

I called them, you gotta have leathers to race, so I won't be going. Guess I'll have to get some pants and boots soon. I'll be at I-57. My shifter should be here tomorrow morning, I'll see if Matt or Eric can install it for me while I'm at work. What size tap will I need for the frame mount?
tell you what ill roll down and hang with you guys till about 10 then head out to gateway since i dont have shid better to do. Besides i need to work on my 60' and i will probably we lucky to get 5 runs in there where i can get 5 runs in 10 mins with you guys. What time are you headed down or mayabe we can meet up and roll to the track together just let me know cause i should be able to sneak out of work early to meet you guys somewhere.

I used a 1/4" drill and drilled out the bolt (just barely touched it) Then I tapped it with a 5/16-18 bolt.
I can't remember exactly how long it was, I will go and measure it tonight.

Measured the bolt, it was 1.75" long, grade 5, and I used a nut to lock it.
