i almost hit a guy on a bike today

i was in the inside lane of 3 lanes in my car doing the posted speed limit of 45mph.....i see a feller (oklahoma speak) on a bandit leaving work....he lets the car ahead of me go past and guns it on a line coming right across my path to go the other direction.....didn't see me until he was in lane one and thankfully he was going slow enough and there were no other cars because he got slowed down enough to let me go by before pulling over and cleaning out his shorts. Scared the s##t out of me and hopefully did the same for him. I can't imagine how bad it would be to hit someone on a bike.

It would be very bad, and even worse for a biker in a car to hit a bike. Glad you and the biker are safe. Let's hope he learned something, you do not always get extra chances.
