WOW! That is alot of Ti right there. I would be having a field day anodizing all of that LOL.Placed a order for some Zrx bowl gaskets to a friend in Arizona who cuts lots of titanium for his products. Yesterday along with gaskets all this showed up. I'm already working on the exhaust hanger from stainless to Ti

Is it plug n play without the stator upgrade ?@c10 here is some weight savings without titanium. Original rectifier vs. mosfet. You would kill two birds with one stone! Upgrade rectifier and save 114g of weight.

Hi. My Hi output stator and mosfet rectifier are on order now.Is it plug n play without the stator upgrade ?
Yes, Plug and playIs it plug n play without the stator upgrade ?
A MOSFET is a semiconductor switch. It varies the resistance between two pins in response to a voltage on a third pin. Inside the MOSFET, the voltage on the third pin (the gate) pulls electrons into a narrow path between the other two pins (the source and drain), allowing electricity to flow.what is a mosfet
Thank you
It does seem a simple process. If it is the same or better than a rectifier I'm surprised they are not a factory fit
What is the benifit over stock? Is this to upgrade the electrical system for additional electronics & or HO need? Have seen them but have no knowledge of it.Hi. My Hi output stator and mosfet rectifier are on order now.
They don’t get really hot like the stock one. There’s old threads on this forum with video of a stocker sparking and smocking. Mine was replaced by Suzuki under a recall, but I’ve always been worried about how hot they get in the Florida heat, so upgraded and while I was at it, moved it to the tail section to keep it nice and clean. What is the benifit over stock? That will keep it cooler too. They say gen2 has to deal with the engine heat & Suzuki should have never moved it from the tail. Thanks for info. They don’t get really hot like the stock one. I agree. They should’ve kept it in the tail and left us, gen2 owners, with the ability to run a center stand like gen1 owners. That will keep it cooler too. They say gen2 has to deal with the engine heat & Suzuki should have never moved it from the tail. Thanks for info.
