I don't know how...

Changed the oil in my '06 'busa for the first time yesterday. Decided to go slow so I wouldn't "break" anything. Here's my stupid question--I went to put the oil drain plug in and torque to proper specs. How do you read the torque wrench? It's upside down, close to the garage floor, and my fat head can't get under there to read it!!! (I'm sure if anyone saw me they would have thought "The big one hit me"!!!LOL). I've got a normal craftsman wrench. Is it just me?

Most important thing when changing the oil is to replace the compression washer. As for the torque wrench, I tighten mine with a normal 3/8" drive ratchet just snug then give an 1/8 turn more. All you want to do is compress the compression washer. Get the washer that is flat on one side and has a raised, bump section on the other. Put the flat side against the oil pan and tighten as above. Hope this helps. Other wise get torque wrench that breaks (clicks) when the setpoint is reached.

Also thinking about the wrench you have< If you put a mark using a red Sharpie on the back if the torque wrench scale which corresponds to the setpoint you wish to torque to you will be able to tighten until the needle is on the red mark.

Hope this helps
