I feel Good

Like many my new years resolution is to lose weight and eat healthy, Plus tipping 340 at 6 feet aint good (not to mention the fight my belly has with the gas tank.) So far I have been sticking to my regimine, eat lean meats, vegetable and fruit (no sugar and other bad carbs.) And every day I enjoy a vigorous walk for an hour. So far so good.

Have someone take some before pictures and keep them close at hand. Should help keep you motivated.

Good for you brother! I have the same resolution. I want to drop at least 40 pounds by summer. I have been trying to watch my diet and get some exercise every day. Remember one of the biggest problems that adds to gaining weight is eating after 8pm.
 
Thanks for the encouragement, I am going to succeed. I hear you toykraz on the 8pm thing kicker for me is I work nights. Lots of water. I try to drink half my body weight in water.

Take a pair of your pants and cut them off so they are basically daisy dukes. Then just keep them around so you can see the difference in what your waist used to be. If you don't cut them then it will be easier to put them back on if you really need to. But if all you have left is some short shorts that should be some motivation to get the job done!

Thats good for you, I told my wife I wanted to loose 50 lbs of ugly fat as well. She told me to cut off my head-wtf?

if youll walk, walk in the morning, lots of people walk in the afternoon and get their metabolism kicking which in turn gets their appetite kicking as well. then when its time for bed they are so hungry they eat everything in the ice box. sooooooo. get that exercise in the morning.... lower your portion sizes and eat more often, and i dont mean lower your portions to a small saucer.

JUST EAT REASONABLE AND EAT OFTEN. 1 CHEAT DAY A WEEK AS A REWARD.
