I hate winter, so Juli and I needed to get away

We needed some quality he and she time so we headed south to Mexico, Cabo San Lucas for a week. The weather there is much nicer let me tell you. Please enjoy a few pictures to illustrate my point. LOL

On the flight to Houston and then on the ground in Cabo San Lucas. Lots of Canadians here at this time of the year.

Highs were in the upper 80's with lows in the 60's. The resort was the Barcelo Resort.

They had a really cool sports bar in a tower at the resort, you can get a nice 360 degree view of the town and the beach.

Down town was a short walk and this place had the coldest beer in town. I love getting off the beaten path and seeing what locals have to offer.

This is where we had lunch one day, let me tell you, authentic food is the best at any local establishment.

If you can read the plaque, this Mission was founded in 1730 but failed due to local wars. Still standing at the square.

Back to our favorite local watering hole where Juli enjoyed a strawberry margarita.

Last one, Juli and I ready for dinner on night, I think Wednesday. Anyway, sucks to be back in the cold with a winter storm warning tonight, but we are thankful we could get away and enjoy and Mexico once again. And by the way, Cabo San Lucas is only 1050 miles south of San Diego, I am thinking road trip.
