I HAVE A SHIFTING ?? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

Hey guys i have a question i hope someone can help with.when you are riding and going from 1st to 2nd gear and you don't quite hit second,instead it goes to neutral why do you have to stop before it'll go back into first or second gear? when this happens to me i have to pull over and stop or be going about 5 mph before it'll shift back to first or up into second gear.sometimes i guess i don't upshift the right way or not hard enough,but anyway this could be dangerous.what do i need to do?anyone else have this happen to them?

Just make sure you hit second with a little more pressure, False second shifts seem to be common on Busa's if you don't get some force on it.

+1...not getting into 2nd can cause damage to your tranny...just concentrate on it more when you are making that first shift for a little while and soon it will become second nature

and shift like you mean it... you can not upshift too hard *well unless you have a bionic leg

If it happens again try pulling in the clutch, reving the engine (blip throttle) , and then kick it into second.

about 12,000. but this is a problem i've had on all my bikes not just the busa.it don't happen eveytime i shift only sometimes
