I have an integrated tail...do I keep the stalks?

I got an integrated tail light for a song and I was wondering if I should keep the stalks. The integrated light doesn't seem to have much, if any side to side visibility. I put the board behind the stock red tail and it looks great. The amber color shines through bright as day! I was thinking of putting the plate on the back of the battery box but might be asking for LEO trouble...

ya can get rid of em, get some gsk-r 1000 stalks/signals and have even MORE turn signal and brake lights. Ask Doyle(DR1300R)
