Ok... As some of you know..the busa I rode had a bit of a power problem..

Well the fuel pump was clogged.. He fixed it and I rode it yesterday.

It is a whole new animal.


I am picking it up tomorrow. That is all.

I have a TON of questions.. and need a ton of help. But Im excited. The only changes I need are cosmetic and driven by personal taste. Not big on its color but I think if i put the stickers back on it it wont look so plain or like something is missing.

MODS on the bike:

Dodge Dakota factory blue paint
Undertail (still white but looks ok)
Blue anodized pegs
Deleted mirrors and bar end mirror (thinking about going to stock for a bit)
Muzzy carbon fiber slip ons
Bigger back sprocket
New tires front and back

THINGS I NEED TO DO/FIX:

Either new paint job or touch up scratches (dropped lightly, no rash) On all fairings.

Sticker Kit with kanji.. thinking silver or chrome.. I think the suzuki on the tank and the lettering on the tail will bring it back to life... make it look a bit more lively.

Double bubble screen (plan on touring a little possibly)

Seat, probly Tobin.

Polishing wheels to go with chrome or silver kanji (wheels are factory dark gray)


I personally love the factory graphics on the busas and wish it was factory but may settle for painting it black with subtle graphics.

It is missing the Belly pan wing.... thinking about adding an aluminum one or something. Do NOT plan on stretching it.. The other choice was an RC51 and im already kicking myself handling wise... The busa was the LOGICAL choice.. lol... not the emotional one. I plan on some longer distance riding.

Rust. The tank had rusted.. probly over winter. Took it to the shop and they replaced all the stuff and POR'd the tank so it wont happen again. Bike runs like a raped gorilla now.. my god. (it was the fuel pump screen that was clogged?)

It wasnt very strong..but ran ok... until around 9K rpms where it fell on its face like it was fouling plugs...

Stupid rust!
