Yes I have officially dropped rachael off my rear stand. Due to absolute carelessness I couldn't catch her and BAM. So now my tank is dented in 3 places 1 of which hit my roommates gsxr1000 foot peg and scratched the shad out of my fairing. Yes, I am now a member of the illustrious club!

I am so sick to my stomach right now, anyway I will post pics of it tomorrow in the daytime.
 
Man that sucks, that same thing happened to me 2 weeks after obtaining my Busa.
 
Sorry to hear that. It is repairable though, so you should be back up riding soon.

I think MOST of us are members of that club...it sucks...dented tank, huh? I was lucky and just messed up the paint on plastic. Start checking Ebay...it can all be fixed...

Consider it a right of passage.

I posted a thread a while back asking about embarrassing drops at low/zero speeds. Quite a few responded, so don't feel you're the only one.

Putting my bike up on the rear stand scares the pee out of me! I always get someone to help steady the bike when putting it up and taking it down.

Sorry to hear that man, I am also glad that you weren't moving. Easier to fix than if you were, but still sucks none the less. I hope i never join the club either but i'm sure I will sooner or later.
