Ok...so the bike is more or less ready to roll. I just need some help with the wiring harness.

I have the wiring harness, but I'm running into trouble with the routing of said harness and the throttle cables.

Can anyone shoot some pics of how the wore harness is placed? This would require you to remove your seat, gas tank and clutch side fairing.

Anyone? Pretty please?

I think usmcbusa has all that stuff off his bike,at least he did a few days ago,he started a tread called my poor baby.Maybe he could take the pic you need

motorhed, your avatar is hypnotic.

anyone? please?
PAC....  open the book brutha....  open the book.

Are the routing of cables and wiring not there at yer finger tips?
Aah...yes they are! However....

I'm a real "all-thumbs and two left feet" kinda person when it comes to stuff like that.

I can rip apart an engine and wield a wrench pretty decent, but my biggest weakness is the electrical and throttle cable components. I can't seem to do it.

I've looked at the schematics over and over again, went out to my bike over and over again, but I can't seem to get the mojo flowing properly. I get irritated and frustrated...and then I head in.

I've tried, brotha man....I've tried.

What exactly, or should I say where do you need pictures of on the bike? I will snap some shots tomm if you still need them.

Aah!!! Many thanks!

I would like top pics of the bike (with the gas tank and seat removed) focusing on the wire harness. Perhaps two shots...one at a distance (about 3-4 feet) and about three shots closer (say about 1.5 to 2 feet) from the subframe, on to the frame (where the seat is) to the front part (where the throttle bodies and airbox are).

That would be awesome, if you don't mind.

I'd really appreciate it.

Pac, on the pdf. service manual, check pages 426-427, it has the routing procedures...

yes, yes....I know. I printed it out an everything, but I still can't seem to get it. I'm hoping that pics will be a better approach.

Here ya goLinky

Sorry, I forgot I had a full tank and don't have the fitting for the line. Basically wiring runs beside battery on driverside and under the cross bar then flattens out over another bar but under the tank and goes foreward from there. Pictures are large to try to help with the detail. Hope that helps ya out brotha.
