I got a decent deal on them (i think) From everything i have read i am sure i will be pleased with the handling.
My only concern is very high speed stabilaty, tough to beat the bt-14 in that department.

I have been running the Powers for 2 seasons. They do everything well. Getting about 5,000 out of the rear and about 10.000 out of the fronts.

got pilot powers on the front and it was good to 220...

Going to get a rear shortly, but haven't had any issues with it on the front during high speed.

Chevelle,

The 2ct's handle well at top speed. I had it up too 170 just yesterday with no problems, and you will see how well they warm up and handle in the twisties. Do not know what size you are getting, but I have the 190/55 and let me tell you they are great.

You will like them a lot.

Crap! Sounds like I missed a rockin Sunday mornin ride!

I broke down and put the pwr pilots on for a long trip--even in the splashing rain; lots of "lines and ridges" on the multisurface road. no issues-
same tire as the 2ct;cept no 20%softer side compound.

Geting the regular pilot power, not the 2ct. I am not a road racer per say but i do push on occasian.

The 14's worked well for me,but didn't last very long
1500-2k for rears,as litlle as 1k if i'm sprayin hard (no burnouts) 2k-2500 for fronts.

I run PPs on the front but for my Colorado tour (2,600 miles straight up just to get there and back) I put a Pilot Road on the rear.  Worked much better for that kind of riding.  Felt no slippage in the corners either.

I am in the "break in period" on my new 2ct's 190/55. All I can say is WOW! It is so much different then the stockers. They are real sensitive and just want to lean right over and stay there. I cant wait to ride hard on them.

dudes, this guy has a stage 2 turbo on his bike. He is just shy and not bragging about it.

Maurice, did you get yourself a new rear?

No... Not yet...

The wife has her priorities this month and it doesn't seem to coincide with me getting a tire this month... Think I am just going to finish the season out with what I got and just keep it under 150 till next year. There is some tread left as long as I don't get up in speed. Seems like everytime I make a high speed run, I come back and my tire is noticably more worn... hahahahaha. Figure if I keep it under 150, probably will have just enough tire left to make it through the last few rides of the season.

hahahahahaha..... Maybe you can put me on your girl's 500 to get by.... lol...

Yea, I will just have to be careful and keep it reasonable for the rest of the season... Now I really am not going to be able to keep up with you in the twisties...

I was barely keeping up before to say the least... Now you are really going to have to wait on me...

I have put a few hundred miles  on them, and i like them.

I took it up past the shiftlight (10,400)  17-41 and it was nice and stable, smooth as glass.

I need to pick up a 40 tooth sprocket to nudge it up to 195/96.

Ditto.

Coming out of the dealer's driveway I forgot how they like to "dip". Felt good on the way home tho!
