looks Killer!!! if it can hold that weight, great-but can the wall and/or overhead beams supporting it? guess you might have to beef up the garage a bit to use something like this, unless you got poured walls already...

I would use one if I had concrete garage-dunno if reg. wood is good enuf to take any strain from something like this....any carpenter experts here???

Their FAQ says that only 20% of the weight on the wall so any wall can support it. 80% on the floor.

Hey Vic, I've  already priced them out back during Dec 06 from my local retailer for $1800 to 1900 (standard) delivered. I plan on getting one this  upcoming winter. If you like we can probably get a group discount if we go in together, let me know if you're interested.

I've been chilln along with alittle spring cleaning.

$1,800 to 1,900 isn't a bad asking price for the unit (Loft it) from what some are wanting and it will not interfere with your ceiling or take up valuable floor space like the one below. If you still want to do it let me know?
