I went so fast i ripped my fairing off!

Anyone had this happen before? I just put it back together (finally) and this happens! One of the push pins was still in the bottom. I have always ran it without the black pieces on the inside(I think) I didn't have the lower splash guard on but I can't remember if I used it or not. What can I do to make sure it doesn't happen? Thought about a Gen 1 bracket to hold the bottom together. Um help?

Hey how about just putting the stock fairings back on?
And when fitting fairings, be sure to fit all the black plastic ‘in-fill’ pieces, that alone will help to flow the air properly throughout the fairings, also all fasteners need to be secure and in good condition,
How fast were you going when it came apart??

My left side fairing went up past my head about 110-120mph.
I found it wayyy up at the top of man made hill between highways, about 80-100'

How fast were you going? I have gone 200, and I know people going 230 with no problems, but we had all parts and pins in place, unless you are going faster than that, I don't think the problem it's the speed, but the missing parts.
