ICEMANN's  HID Kit

Was able to finish installing ICEMANN's HID kit the other day. Bought it from a member of the Suzuki Hayabusa board. All I can say is DAMN!!! That light is so bright, a huge difference from the way it was stock. The light goes further, wider, and is a super white light. It makes daylight in front of the bike. Anybody who rides at night should see this modification as a serious safety investment. Plus it has a cool factor of 10

This was the best I could do considering I will never be able to afford to buy a car with HID lighting.

Thanks to JD, for all your help, your detailed instructions and a awesome product.

Here is a few pics. This one is my brothers stock Busa.

And here is my bike- HID burning

Maybe not the best comparison, but buy it for yourself and see the difference.

It cost $ 250 shipped. I think if you have basic understanding of electrical/mechanical knowledge you wont have a problem. I just took my time doing it and the included instructions are really good, expecially when it comes to the wiring in the relay, etc.

Does it create an extra strain on the electrical/charging system or battery?
NO! HID uses all of 35 watts compared to the regular 55 watt low-beam in there.  Also, there is NO extra Heat, HID is the cats ass, doesn't create any more heat than a stock bulb, maybe even less.  HID uses super high voltage to fire what is basically an electric ARC inside the bulbs capsule.  The light created is an strange and wonderful thing...  Super bright, reduced glare, just sweet looking, as the Icemann says "Try outriding that light."  Think of how bright an Arc Welder's Struck arc is and you get an idea of the color and intensity of this light   Serious power.... No drawbacks...  Well one, it's a little pricey, but worth it...  Expect to spend anywhere from $275-600...  If your interested I recommend contacting Ice, he can hook you up...

Just do not get suckered into buying a "HID" bulb that fits in your standard plug, don't believe it it's NOT HID.  HID systems require a Balast/controller system.  ICEMANN makes a great kit, shows up as promised and the full color instructions with photos are pretty well done.

No, HID system takes less to run! Might be close during the start-up of the ballest, etc... But, once your up and running less of almost everything but LIGHT!
