Idle Speed

I know this topic has been talked about before, but I can't seem to find it. Just curious, what is everyone's idle speed set to? I can't seem to remember where mine was set to after coming home from the dealer, but am suspicious that it has dropped over time. Thanks.

mine is just over the 1 at about 1,100 rpm's

I think factory recommendations are 1,100. However, I like mine a bit higher around 1,250.

Thanks guys for the responses. I'm asking this question since I just ordered my Gen3 and PCIIIr from Tom @ Veltune and figured would adjust the idle as well since I'll have the bike apart anyway.

I had mine set around 1200, but after I installed my PC3, it jumped to about 1500. I have to dial it back down. Just my .02

I like around 1250-1300 to keep oil pressure up
after you adjust your idle you will prolly need to readjust your TPS

Tom at Veltune or Brock at BDE are the guys to talk to on this. Different MAPs want the idle set at different speeds. I have mine set at 1300. Gen 3 and PC3r installed on my bike

1200-1500rpm depending on your climate and how you like it when you stop.

yeah mine was running like 950 way to low. and just changed it a few days ago to about 1250-1300 so much better.
