If you have a full exhaust \"read this\"

I'm preparing to order a full stainless exhaust system in the next week or so. If you have a full stainless system please post weight of it, how much extra horse's you got, model # if you have it, price of it (u.s or cnd), state if you like it. And what fuel mangement system is everyone using yosh or pc2?

thanks guys

Your lights would still work because the light itself is now traveling at twice the speed of light.

BUT, if you go ANY faster the light will shine behind you :-)

Speed is relative. In space your speed can be WARP relative to earth but zero relative to some other planet. So what is to travel the speed of light and how do you know you're travelling the speed of light and in that case relative to what ? In fact you are travelling the speed of light relative the light that comes at you.

DP please don't hate me for doing these explanations.....

Titanium--A low-density element which undergoes an allotropic transformation at about 885 C changing from a close-packed hexagonal crystal structure (alpha phase) to a body-centered cubic crystal structure (beta phase). The transformation temparture (beta transus---is strongly influenced by the interstitial elements oxygen, nitrogen and carbon (alpha stablizers) which raise the transformation temperture; by hydrogen (beta stablizer), which lowers the transformation temparture; and by metallic impurity or alloying elements, which may either raise or lower the transformation temparture. Does this answer your question Vegas???

spike did you remapp ? If so what did you
remap to. I am thinking of getting some two brothers slip ons or D&D. Thanks Frank

As a matter of fact I didn't and today I noticed conciderable lowend spudder. All my past ZX-11's did the same thing with after market exhausts though. They ran like raped apes too . Just the same though I'm going to call to see if I can eliminate the problem .The wife was following me on her bike and could smell a bit of fumes ,running rich maybe? Will find out , I hope .

Okay, sorry, I'll get to the topic now. I just put a Yosh RS3 Stainless Full Race system with TI cans on the TLR. Weight savings was damn near 15 lbs. Seat of the pants feels like more HP, but no Dyno around here. I used a PCII, but I have a Yosh box and may do a compare.

Just installed Two Brothers Carbon Slip-ons (Thanks Jeff) and they sound awesome .It seems like it has alot more power too,are these good for much more horsepower. If so there difinitely more bang for the buck, no? Won't tell 1/4 MI. till next year .

Light consists of photons (or whatever they are called in english) which are particles. You can change a photons speed and direction, just like any other particle, and thus it's speed relative other particles. Hawkins has been proved wrong by other scientists.

I'm not trying to be smart or anything but the universe has no fix point from which you can have "absolute speed". If you had and you were going "the speed of light" relative to that point would your headlamps not "send out" light ?

If the speed of light is coming at you at 300000km/s and you are moving on your Busa in the opposite direction at 90m/s. Would not the relative speed of light for you be 300000.09km/s ?

DP if you can prove me wrong i would appreciate it. Every new bit of knowledge is welcome to me, seriously.

And to make everyone else happy i have a full exhaust. It's the stock exhaust for a -91 GSX-R 1100 which is up for grabs to anyone who is intoxicated enough to touch the extremely heavy piece of scrap !

Vegas, yes you are perfectly correct: According to Einstein light has some slight mass and is "bent" around any object with gravity. His theory, first postulated in 1921, was proven correct in 1994 by technicians who demonstrated that "bending" takes place as starlight approaches the Earth and passes around the sun. This curvature of light does not, however, affect it's speed, which is always the same.

Doc, I was not aware that Hawking had been proven "wrong." How could he be? He has no theories of his own and has only become famous for his brilliant interpretation of Einsteins's work.

Doc, have you read Hawking's book?

He has some theories of his own that have been proven wrong. Having not read his book am i wrong in my previous statement ?

Doc, let's just call it a stalemate. Have a read. It's only 90 pages. You may be right and he's thrown in some theories of his own since he wrote A Brief History of Time, but I'm not aware of that. And I follow him quite closely.

Hawking's just a guy who made Einstein accessible. A smart guy for sure. Also an unforgivable prick for what he did to his wife. Horrible to say, but the little dink deserves his wheelchair and his slobber.
