wow. and that looks EXACTLY like my old 2 piece [still in operation here and there]
To me, the thing about accidents is this: it is ALWAYS 50/50. You do what you can. DEPENDING ON THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE PARTICULAR ACCIDENT, and how it happens, stuff either works or fails and there is no guarentee either way. For example, maybe during an accident that cheapo $89 helmet saves your but. Maybe in a similar accident that $900 helmet shatters like egg shells. Maybe during a slide, a seam separates on a suit, maybe it doesn't. The suit thickness, type of leather, number of stitches, amount of kevlar, or whatever makes no difference when FATE is giving you 50/50 of the outcome
To be honest, I've gone down at 40mph [pocket bikes on track] several times in my Teknics and had no problems. They still are tight and right... other than some major scuffing
did that rider know proper technique for sliding in a get off? i didn't read the whole thing. There are ways you can assist the outcome of a get off
That said, I wear Dianese now
