Well yesterday I went to motrac racing:bowdown: in ellesmere port (in the uk) to have my pcIII mapped on my gen 1. Now the bloke that did it, Steve, sets up race bikes for wsb teams and gave Tom Sykes and cal crutchlow their big breaks, he also looks after and sets up many of the tt bikes and so knows his stuff.

So off I go to one of the most accurate dynos in the uk (has to be I guess for the race bike figures) all I have on my gen1 is a set of quill cans andnothing more and 7100miles, its a 2005 machine, and the figures it produced were "healthy".

173.9bhp at the wheel and 113ft/lbs of torque :D, not bad for just the pcIII and a set of slip ons.

Also, yes a dyno tune really is worth it.

That is a good number for the mods you have. I just have slip ons and would like to get my bike tuned.

:beerchug: Wow, thoes are good numbers. Surprising coming from a Gen1 with bolt-ons and a PCIII. I guess mine was built on a Monday and yours on a Wednesday.

Gen I with PCIII & slip on's = 173 pony's = ???

Yep as I say my dyno man is damn good at what he does, I was shocked myself I can post pics of the graphs etc if it would make you feel better:beerchug: <<<<<<that isn't meant to sound as it does I shall put pics of the torque max power and air fuel curves in a few moments sorry if that came out too badly

Quill are well known in the uk where they are hand made :) but the reason they are well known is their prices aren't bad at all, unfortunately in the uk we get ripped off on most everything we buy which is one reason why, after spending some time there, I'd love to move to the states:bowdown:
