I had been away from the Busa for about five years since i had to sell my first one to buy my house. After I got back on my feet I went on a Ducati kick for a while but in the back of my mind I wanted to get another Busa.
That brought me back to this site and the hunt was on. It didn't take long to find a great deal here. This '02 LE had just over 1800 miles and was just about stock. It looked as if it was put away wet a few times and was sitting for about two years but that's an easy fix. It started right up in -10 deg weather and he had all the service records and a few extras.
It was located in northern Maine on the Canadian border about 9 hours from my house. As luck would have it, work brought me half way up there to Bangor,ME. A few hours and inches of snow later I had it home and stared right into the tear down.
Here it is a few months later and I got it back together. Of course when i started i was going to stay on budget and keep it mainly stock

Here is the list:
Dymag 7 spokes w/ sprocket

Here is a pic from the day I brought it home..
