today i forgot the key on the bike with on position

after 9-10 hours , i remembered that i left the key on the bike , i wanted to start the bike no power , i removed the seat to reach the battery and i connect a battery jump starter device to the battery , the engine started with the starter immidiately ... then i removed the device , left the battery alone to hold the load ...

after 15-20 minutes , i think it returned to the normal , my question is , i was running a pc3 with an ignition mod. , did i lost any software ? should i reload the maps ?

thanx ...

The maps are loading in non-volatile memory. It will keep the info even if the power is removed. You should be fine.

the official dynojet tuner here , loves money so much

he told me to bring the bike to the tune center , he said we need to re program everything (probably he will want me to pay about a 100usd for this process) ... so he is lying ...

Yep!

He is not being straight with you. Your maps should all still be fine. The map storage is not dependant upon the battery for their storage function. Once loaded a loss of power will not dump them.

(BA BUSA @ Aug. 24 2007,06:44) Sounds like tuners make a "easy" living in Turkey

got that right, they swindled him out of a pair of perfect Ack slipons.

there is a man working there doing these tuning things , he told me that if you want to remove all limits of the bike , tre will not enough , you have to make a short cut (he doesn't teach me how but he does it for 100USD) , he told me , if you lost the battery then we need to remake this process , what can it be ? still lying ?

So, he's saying the battery is a constent power feed to the

? Hummmm, so then the battery is always having a direct pull. I know the clock does a trickle drain, but seems kinda strange you would want anything else, unless you rode the bike alot ! So, with no charge the

loses it's memory

keep your money and hook your PCIII up to a laptop and check for yourself. Look at the fuel and ignition maps if there are no zero's present you are good to go. Just hook it up to you laptop with your bike running and click get map. Pretty simple and its free...and you will have your peace of mind!

thank you for all messages , i checked the pc3 with a laptop , the maps are there

And about his other "shortcut", a TRE and a PCIII usb, plus of course getting rid of the pair valve either through the use of the marble mod or removing it completely when you go to a full system, this is all you need to do to take full advantage of the bikes potential. Along with the small airbox mod you should be good to go. I do not know what other $100 shortcut he is talking about.

he removed the pairs valve , also did that air box modding for my both busas ...

the 100 dollar shortcut is from your wallet to his wallet , i would never go to a guy who lies like that who knows what else is up his sleeve
