Info on a pipe...

YZF-boy- here's some R6 pipe tips:
First of all, no aftermarket company gets more than a few hp out of any full system for that bike (stock headers are good) so a slip-on is more cost effective. Two Brothers Racing makes standard mount and high mount; many other companies do as well.
Second tip: find the R6 list and ask there.

If Suzuki would supply a stock canister as attractive as the stock R6/R1/ZX9, I would never do more than drill the baffle plate and keep riding. Except if I was racing and needed the weight reduction, of course.

I know this is a Suzuki site, but I need some help on a pipe. I purchased a Y2k, Yzf-R6 and I want to put on a pipe. I'm not to sure on which style and brand I should purchase. I know there are many great types of them, but from your personal experience what would you choose for best performance and looks for the Yamaha?

Go to Dragbike.com and check out the article on the Sato-Performance exhaust.
There actually getting there own site together at Sato-Peformance.com,check it out.

I agree with TMBiker, I would get a canister over a full exhuaust for
the 600, unless you plan on doing engine work. If you do plan on doing engine work get a full system.
