inner fairing placement

Hi guys I had my front left and right fairings off and I`m not
sure if I got them back on correctly with regards to those black inners beside the front wheel.Do the black inners
go inside the fairing?Mine are out just a hair.I seem to remember that the inners were flush with the fairings?

Anyone have a closeup photo of the leadind edge of the fairing?

No pics, but yeah, the black inners (under the nose, right?) are flush with the fairing...they have a few plastic push pins if I recall...some metal screws closer toward the engine...

Thanks I don`t know what the heck happend,but those lower
black things are not sitting flush.If I push on them they go flush but as soon a I let them go they pop out of place.
I don`t want to remove those fairings again sh*t.

Something like that happened to me too. Guess what it was? Somehow sticky tar covered little pieces of gravel had been flung up inside the fairings and when the fairings where removed, those pieces of gravel fell along the edges where the plastics meet. Henceforth I always run my finger along those edges to make sure the surfaces are clear before reinstallation.
