I've asked the same question before with no avail. Buy a PCIII used and have it tuned at a shop. Shops in my area don't like to deal with any other applications other than the pc. You might want to call around first and see what they will work with.
I will probably bite the bullet and get the PC3 usb but was wondering if anyone had the others and what kind of satisfaction level there was with them.
I mean the difference in price is substancial

I know this is an old post but came across it by accident and thought I'd share my info...maybe help some Busa brothers out
I have a Cobra FI2000R and it rocks. I added it to my Viper race bolt ons and my BMC street filter and it made a HUGE diff in the performance everywhere. It came set for your average bolt ons with an otherwise stock bike. The settings were 2-2-1 for the three pots. I have mine at 3-3-3 and it made almost as much diff as my 16 tooth front sprocket. And that was just a few hours of adjusting...I'm sure I can get it a little better. It REALLY made a diff in the top end. It winds up more like a 1000 than a Busa now. And thats at 5000 ft of elevation
I got mine for $197 shipped to my door and its one of the best bike investments I've ever made
