Install details on SpeedoDRD

I just ordered a SpeedoDRD from www.motomummy.com to correct the speedometer being off from the factory on my 2008.

Does anyone have specific details of how this item is installed? Is there a connector on the VSS wire as it goes up into the bike that you put the SpeedoDRD inline with? Does it connect to the rear of the cluster?

Some one who has done this install or is familiar with it may be able to provide some insight for me and those in the future installing the SpeedoDRD.

Got both units from motomummy. Both work great. I extended the wires on the speedodrd on the 1k to make it easier to calibrate.
