installing decal

recently my bike fell over and i had to have a fender repainted.  i got a stock decal to go back on the bike and i was wandering if anyone could give me some helpful hints on how to install it properly without screwing it up.

if it is regular Vinyl use water in a spray bottle and spray back of decal and fairing with a mist so you can adjust and move it around . If it is a regular sticker and you cant wet it then you need to dry stick it with some scotch tape and mark fairing with a grease pencil so you can line it up . Take your time and plenty of patience .

Stock OEM Suzuki sticker from factory?
Is that a regular vinyl? can you wet the plastic before you apply it?
