Yea, Here is what I got for all.

24yrs. old (no accidents or tickets @ all)
Sentry/Dairyland - $10k/yr (yea, you read right $10,000/yr)
State Farm - $124.50/month (25/50/25 $250ded.) but would not insure me because I dont have my own auto policy
Progressive - $160/month (25/50/15 $500ded./underin 25/50)

Went with Full Coverage w/ Progressive until I can get my auto policy in my own name on my 2k1 Jeep. Just needed insurance and I wanted full coverage so did what I had to. Once I get my auto I'll go with State Farm, might even be cheaper by then. HTH

yep, 20 something with a bike like this can get pretty pricey.. at 24 even state farm is probably going to be on the pricey side... If your credit rating has any issues it only gets worse..

You cant be too "braindead", your doing some good planning. Ready, Aim, Fire! Some newbies here have never heard of doing any pre purchase planning.

I have been with State Farm all my life, no accidents + 44 years old got me full coverage on my 08 for $36.00/mo.

Sounds like you are on the right track, hope everything falls in line for the 08, it's great.

i'm 20 yrs old and when i knew i was going to be pickin up the 08 i started calling around for insurance. Geico wanted $7800 a yr, progressive wanted $3500 a yr. i called esurance...got my own policy, full coverage for $1100 a year. keep lookin and good luck!

well so far state farm is the winner at 124 a month something like 4k a year cheeper HAHA, ill take your advice and call esurance

I was quite concerned over this. Before I even decided on a Busa, I called my insurance agent and asked what it would cost for a 2002,2003,etc Busa...along with 6 other bikes I was thinking about. I was satisfied with the $500/yr for full coverage with Farmers.
I would hate to think of the people who wouldn't do the research before hand.

Welcome to the board, just check around and see who would better fit your needs. I got all my vehicles through state farm and they treatme right, compared to others i have checked with. Good Luck

When I was shopping I found Geico was even more than Progressive, both were over 3k/yr. I guess that little green bastid has a nice crib.
I went with State Farm. Less than 400.00/year full coverage.

We shopped around for a while too and we got the best rates from Foremost.com. So try them and see what they can do for you.

24/m/no record/car/bike/state farm = $158/month full coverage 100/300/100 on car and bike with 250 deduct on car and $1000 deduct on bike (soon to be dropped to 250)

its ok, i just got a qoute from progressive. 26/clean record, 01 busa, full coverage with 1000 deduc... 3600/year
