Been putting this off for years. Had cut a slot in one screw to help but both got too bad so I spot weld 8mm bolts to tips. Now I'll never have to worry about it. Maybe Greg can get some 1 piece replacements for some more inventory to sell. I cant be the only one with this problem

Nice idea on the bolt head Bigboy Busa2.

I've never used a JIS screwdriver but one of these days, I'll have to buy a set. I'd still prefer to have no screwdriver heads on the bike unless maybe in plastic parts. I think they use slotted screw heads for things that shouldn't be tightened hard. Also, sometimes for things they don't want you to ever remove and then they're so tight, it's almost impossible to not strip the slots if you try.

I thought I could access them better. But looking at them now that long, kinda like a hack job.
I thought the first ones you welded on stuck out a lot more than necessary but maybe you had some purpose for that like they're easier to reach.

Now you got me feeling self conscious. Give me a few days, I'll have it looking right.

Gorilla weld lookin Frankenstein jack bolt, looks like a redneck blowdart. I know what ya thinking. I got you, this thing will be gold plated when I get done now. Thanks, this just turned into a $75 project. I'll be back

at all

since i bought the standard "vessels" for jis 3 years ago i haven't messed up an x-slot screw any more.
the investment of almost € 28 (at amazon) for the set of 3 was one of the best for tools in a very long time .

strongly recommended

and if they are also built with that impact-function (?) this would be the top of the top.
