my bike has been down forever....i finally got it to a mechanic...the weekend after he crashed his bike & broke sumpthin.....he's been down for a month & it seems like it's goin to be longer....my tranny is open...nut in his shop....i'm thinking maybe i just go pick up everything.....bring it to my workplace & with all the knowledge on the org i should be able to put it back together myself......what do u guys think?

i think you should pick up a service manual, or perhaps a Haynes manual, and get started!

Since you have VERY limited service capability in your area, I agree  ! Get a service manual, tools and just do it. Very little is needed for special tools for your bike. And once you fix it, your confidence and ability to enjoy the bike will EXPLODE :bigcrowd:

And with us along, how can you fail

And if you do something wrong your engine could explode :bigcrowd: .................just kidding  be patient and thorough and you should be fine :beerchug:

I think the mechanic got it together & installing the engine in the frame. Spoke to him on the fone today. Hopefully i'll get the busa back this week or maybe next week at worst. Fingers crossed!!!
