Whats up guys, my name is Shawn I thought I'd just share my most recent project with you guys.
Shes a 2006 Chassis with a 2000 stock motor with lowered compression and beefy head studs. Has a Mr Turbo kit with the additional upper injectors which arent being used right now since the controller box hasnt worked in years.
I had it tuned by Walter Sprout a while ago but in a much different set up (motor was in a show bike with a 300 tire kit) and it made 253hp on that dyno.
So anyways I had a stock motor busa with a +4" arm, 40 shot of nitrous in this chassis. So I had to do some motor swapping but I made the turbo bike into my drag bike. I had to do a lot of cleaning up on the chassis because the previous owner didn't take care of her but she is ready for the strip :-)
So as of now she sits making a lil over 260hp and 150ft lbs with a 7.25psi wastegate spring running off just the bottom stock injectors but with a massive fuel pump and 80psi fuel pressure. She has 17/40. Has a air shifter set up so I can keep my legs back where I like them along with some drag pegs on the rear stand spools.
Going to be running a pilor power one race tire and has a pilot power 120/60 up front.
I'm actually a die hard kawi fan but I am a fan of all bikes lol. My 2011 zx10r has 199hp on this dyno and has gone 208mph but this 260hp is a whole different ball game!!!
Anyways heres the dyno sheet and some pics
P.S. I am looking for s2000 injectors and a lock up!!!
I took her to the track last friday and here is what my best times were for my first night out... keep in mind, shes short, I'm not a great drag racer, and I've never been on a turbo busa at the strip!
I'm very happy with the results of my best time of a 9.389 @ 152.40mph :-)
60' = 1.651
330 = 4.179
1/8 = 6.183
mph = 123.17
1000' = 7.912
ET = 9.389
MPH = 152.40
Heres a Video of that run:
busa at the track for the first time 9.389 @ 152.40mph - YouTube[/url]
I then went back to the drag strip this past friday and was able to cut my times down a bit more. Hit the 3rd gear limiter and still pulled a great time :-/
Last nights time slip:
60' - 1.632
330' - 4.072
1/8 - 6.053
MPH - 125.83
1000' - 7.770
E/T - 9.225
MPH - 154.71
I had another run that was a 9.27x @ 159.xx mph so the mph is up a little.
Here is the 9.225 run :-)
